Cuddle under your favorite blanket and read "Cozy" magazine or climb in bed and take a much-needed nap. Play soft music if you like. Light the fireplace.
Watch a sunrise, sunset or snowflakes, cup of cocoa in hand.
Spend a tranquil hour of complete silence, doing nothing but breathing. Whisper, "Lord, you are my Shepherd."
Light candles, turn on twinkly lights. Snuggle in a favorite chair and receive the presence of Abba, Daddy.
Spend time quietly on a porch swing or in a rocker with cozy blanket and cushy slippers remembering when you fell in love. With your husband or with Jesus.
Find a sunny corner in your house and watch the winter birds. Savor the experience and invite joy.
Order takeout or have supper delivered.
Watch "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote with loved ones.
